     International and national projects beyond EU Framework Programme
    I am currently leading a research project that aims to build the Environmental Input-Output table for
    Alentejo (a NUT2 Portuguese largest region), with a special focus on sectorial emissions, energy and
    resource use blocks.
    My research experience includes:
    a) The participation in three European projects
  • Qualicities 2005-2007 (an INTERREG IIIC project),

  • Transborder Cooperation between Portugal and Spain-the case of Alentejo and Extremadura (1991-
    1992),

  • The Potential Benefits of Integration of Environmental and Economic Policies in the European Periphery
    (the Cohesion Countries), 1998.

  • b) The participation in three projects funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and
    Technology.

  • Evaluation of the Economic and Budgetary Impact of Greenhouse Gas Emissions Limits in Portugal” (FCT -
