Anni Greve is a sociologist (Mag.Scient.Soc, PhD) with key competences in classical and modern sociology. Her specialist research interests are cities with success at a global level (Tokyo), and at the European level, new forms of social integration, religion, risk and security and bonds of civility. She is initiator and coordinator of a major research program entitled CITYFUL (Cities with Success) that include academic and municipal partners from around the world. Her work has been translated into English, French and Japanese.
She is a founding member of Centre of Urban Studies at Roskilde University, Denmark.

International and national projects beyond EU Framework Programme
Anni Greve was the Founder and Director of Centre for Urban Studies at Roskilde University that hosts several externally funded research projects. She has organised conferences and PhD workshops and has excellent international contacts. She is a pointed member of the Advisory Board of The Danish National Centre of Social Research. She has extensive experience in national and international project management, has participated in international comparative research projects as research leader of the Danish team, and has been affiliated to „Social Polis – the social platform on Cities‟ FP7.
