Network of researchers from Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay.
Studies on the conformation of the field of education research on various Latin American countries, particularly on the changes that have taken place during the last 15 years; recent developments and debates on the links between educational knowledge and policies.
Comparative and systematic regional perspective on education research trends, policies and institutions, as well as on the ways social change dynamics affect orientations, characteristics and contents of knowledge production activities.
 Research Activities

 International and national projects beyond EU Framework Programme
NICPE originates in Argentina with the first systematic study of the national education research system, which was published as a book in 2007.
During the last three years we have worked on a regional study (which is about to be published as a book) covering six Latin American countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Paraguay and Uruguay).
