 Details about Expertise / Competences / Technologies
The Department of Innovation and Digitalisation in Law specialises on global challenges in the field of IT/IP law,
Legal Tech, public law, and constitutional law. It is part of the largest legal faculty in the German-speaking world.
The Academics and Research Fellows at the Department have used their extensive expertise in numerous H2020 and
FP7 research projects, many of which have focused on digitalisation and data protection in healthcare and in law
enforcement. The Department is particularly suited to contribute to the data protection and data security aspect of
product development, exchange of data, and citizen involvement.
