Details about Expertise / Competences / Technologies
I am a psychologist and a researcher. I am interested in the psychosomatics, especially in the issue of mental
consequences and mental functioning in the chronic somatic diseases
. Recently the phenomenon of
posttraumatic growth attracted my interest in a special way. I am looking for the answers to the question
how people find benefits in difficult experiences. I am also curious how our emotion and cognition influence our well-
being in somatic diseases and vice versa. What can we do to improve our wellbeing in the difficult circumstances –
maybe mindfulness and yoga can do something about it? I also take part in the research on the Person-Organization
fit, burnout and work-life balance issues.
I am fascinated by methodological and statistical part of my job.
