The Institute on Ageing (INA) at the Berner Fachhochschule (University of Applied Sciences) is an interdisciplinary research institute combining expertise from psychology, sociology, nursing studies, cultural studies, social work, economics, and journalism.
Our methodological expertise is in empirical socical research employing methods such as quantitative surveys, qualitative interviewing, content analysis, and ethnographic approaches.
The institute has a large network of parnters from different areas of applied gerontology (e.g. health care, education, SMEs, public administration).
